Théâtre la Seizième has a new logo!

Théâtre la Seizième has a new logo and is reasserting its identity. At the dawn of its 38th season, the French-language theatre company has adopted an image that better reflects its artistic style, professionalism and strength.

Designed by Persona (iampersona.com), the new logo highlights the francophone nature of the company using graphics that play on the accents peculiar to the French language. Imposing and well-proportioned, the new logo marks the maturity and sturdiness acquired over the years by B.C.’s only French-language theatre company.

The logo’s emphasis on the accents as well as its vertical structure also echo the assertive, innovative and eclectic nature of the programming. “We present high stakes shows that transport audiences to unexpected places. The theatrical experience at la Seizième is anything but linear. We try to surprise our subscriber base from one show to the next,” explains Véronique St-Antoine, President of the Image Evaluation Committee and Vice-President of the Board of Directors.

The new logo was created after consultations with roughly 20 subscribers, occasional spectators and community members. This logo carries with it a new visual identity. To discover Théâtre la Seizième’s new image, click on www.seizieme.ca on September 6.
