It is important for us to stay on the cutting of edge of what is happening on the arts scene in Vancouver. We read a great deal, we see a lot of productions and now, we want to share our favorites. Every two weeks, we will suggest a cultural outing for you. You liked it? Hated it? Tweet us what you think or leave us a note on our Facebook page.
Our first suggestion is to see the musical Ride the Cyclone produced by Atomic Vaudeville from Victoria. After receiving critical acclaim throughout their tour, it is again Vancouver’s turn (the production was also here in 2011) to enjoy this production as part of the PuSh Festival. A friendly warning: this is no Les Miz! Critics have called the show dark, morbid and hilarious. From January 17 to February 16 at the Granville Island Stage. |
